Russo Leadership helps executives and teams lead from a clearer sense of who they are, then turn that clarity into how the work actually gets done.

The work is grounded in Identity-Centered Leadership, a framework built from research with leaders who learned to trust their own judgment before the hard choices arrived. Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors® give teams a shared language for how they communicate, decide, and hold one another to account. The result is steadier judgment, fewer avoidable frictions, and agreements a team can carry forward.

Explore the framework or read more across the site.

Most leaders are not failing the hard choices. They are stuck before them, leading on inherited scripts they have never paused to question.

Signature elements

Eyebrow

Section headline

Teal bar plus tracked caps, with a short teal underline on the headline and one teal accent word.

Icon chips

Tint rounded squares holding simple teal stroke icons.

Corner brackets

Framed content

Teal corner brackets framing imagery, video, and feature panels.

Identity

Logo system

The 2025 mark tightened the arrow terminal on the R so it reads at every size. Three lockups cover every use, and the wordmark is set in Montserrat.

Russo Leadership primary lockup

Primary lockup · icon and wordmark with the tagline. Presentations, signatures, print where the name is obvious.

Icon only · the standalone R. Avatars, favicons, social profiles, merchandise.

Reversed · white on navy and photography. For the full reversed lockup, drop in the white wordmark file.

Approved logo colors

Deep Ocean Blue#1E4063 · on light
White#FFFFFF · on dark
Black#000000 · neutral

Do

  • Hold the icon-to-wordmark proportions exactly as drawn.
  • Give the mark clear space, free of text and graphics.
  • Use the reversed lockup on navy and photography.

Don’t

  • Stretch, rotate, rearrange, or outline the mark.
  • Add filters or recolor outside the three approved colors.
  • Place it on a busy or low-contrast background.

Media

Image & video frames

Frames hold a fixed ratio with a padding-bottom box, so the layout never jumps as media loads. Teal corner brackets sit on the outer wrapper, outside the clip.

16 : 9 image frame
1 : 1 video frame

Two rules that keep frames working in production

  • Build the ratio with height:0 and a padding-bottom percentage. Do not use the CSS aspect-ratio property.
  • Use a real <img> tag with a Webflow CDN URL. A CSS background image renders blank in production because the published Content Security Policy blocks it.
  • Keep the brackets on the position:relative wrapper, never inside the overflow:hidden box, or they clip.

Components

Cards

The workhorse container. White fill, a hairline border, gently rounded corners, and a soft navy shadow. To set one apart, use tint or a stronger shadow, never an edge stripe.

Base

Standard card

White fill, 1px #E2E9F0 border, 16px radius, and the soft navy shadow. The default surface for grouped content.

Tinted, with chip

A tint fill lifts a card out of a row. Pair it with a teal icon chip to lead a feature or a step.

Featured

Set apart

A deeper shadow marks the primary card in a set. Reach for shadow or tint before you reach for a border accent.

Never add a colored edge stripe to a card. Contrast comes from tint and shadow, which keep the set calm and consistent.

Start here

Leadership that holds when the room gets hard.

Bring the gap between what people know, what they enact, and what the room permits into the open, and build the practice that closes it.

Assessment color

DiSC® style colors

When DiSC styles appear, use Wiley’s official colors exactly. Never substitute brand teal or navy for a style color. All four carry white letters, including the C on yellow.

i

S

C

Where they apply. On the web and in slides, the full colors may fill the DiSC wheel, style cards, and priority grids. In print, restrict them to small badges to save ink. These are Wiley’s brand colors, kept distinct from the Russo Leadership palette.

Legal

Trademark treatment

Mark the partner and proprietary names at their first prominent mention. Leave generic running-text DiSC unmarked, and never mark the same term twice on a page.

How to set the symbol

  • Web pattern: <span style="font-size:.62em;vertical-align:super;line-height:0;font-weight:600;">&reg;</span>
  • Use &trade; for the trademark symbol.
  • First prominent mention only, not every instance.
  • Identity-Centered Leadership and ICL are retired. The framework is The Authorship-Permission Model. Identity in the Room is reserved for keynotes and public-facing work.

Credentials

Partner badges

Carry the credentials where they build trust, most naturally in the footer. A readable Authorized Partner badge belongs on every page that markets or sells the products.

Everything DiSC Authorized Partner The Five Behaviors Authorized Partner The 6 Types of Working Genius Certified
One rule to remember. The Working Genius representation on your site, social, and email is the certification badge only. The Working Genius logo is reserved for client-facing materials, so keep it off the website.

Forms

Form styling

The visual target for every form on the site. Match Kit and JotForm fields to this: navy labels, hairline inputs, a teal focus ring, and a navy submit that warms to teal on hover.

Applying it to your tools

  • Kit. Prefer the HTML embed so fields can be themed to brand. The JavaScript embed works too, but its styling lives inside Kit.
  • JotForm. Fields live inside the iframe, so theme them inside JotForm with navy and teal, Montserrat and DM Sans. Style the wrapper around the iframe to match.
  • Focus states matter. Keep the teal ring so keyboard users can see where they are.

Voice

Positioning & voice

The words that anchor the brand, and the rules that keep every page sounding like one voice.

Leadership that holds.

Voice in five moves

  • No em dashes. Use periods or commas.
  • Contractions are welcome when they serve tone. Use them where they warm the line.
  • Second person for anything audience-facing. Speak to the reader as you.
  • Carry theme through scene and detail, never by announcing it.
  • Mark trademarks at the first prominent mention. Leave running-text DiSC unmarked.
