Russo Leadership works with organizations and with individual professionals, and that work involves information about you. This policy explains what we collect, why we hold it, who processes it on our behalf, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Russo Leadership is the trade name of Russo & Long Enterprises Inc. (“Russo Leadership,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a team and leadership development practice. We deliver facilitated individual and team development sessions built on certified assessment tools, the self-paced Russo Leadership Academy, the monthly Alumni Lab, and the free Leadership Range self-check.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit russoleadership.com (the “Site”), schedule a conversation, complete the Leadership Range, purchase an assessment or Academy course, take part in a session or the Alumni Lab, or otherwise contact us.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
When an organization arranges sessions or Academy access for its people, that organization gives us the contact information and the participant list we need to deliver them. We also receive information from the assessment publishers whose instruments we are authorized to deliver, from the platforms we use to operate the Site and our communications, and from professional networks where you have chosen to connect with us.
Russo Leadership is an independent Authorized Partner for Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors®, and a Certified Facilitator for The 6 Types of Working Genius®. These instruments are published by third parties and are administered on the publisher’s own platform. When you complete one, your responses are collected and processed there, your report is generated there, and the publisher handles that information under its own privacy terms. We receive your report and the administrative record we need to deliver your session or course.
When an organization purchases assessments for a group, the reports and any group-level data produced from them are shared with that organization as agreed with it. If you are participating through your employer, ask us or your organizer what has been agreed, and we will tell you plainly what is shared and with whom.
The Leadership Range is a free self-check we developed. It is delivered through Kit, our email provider. When you enter your name and email address to receive your result, they are stored in Kit together with a summary of your result (your overall score and how often you chose each leadership style), so that we can send you your result and the written material that follows it. Your answers to individual scenarios are not sent to us. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time, and you may ask us to delete the stored result.
The Leadership Range is a starting point for reflection. It is not a psychological assessment, a clinical instrument, or a predictive measure. No assessment we deliver is used to evaluate you for employment, credit, insurance, or any similar purpose, and we do not provide an individual result to an employer unless the arrangement with your organization says so and you have been told before you begin.
Where an organization arranges sessions or Academy access for its people, we process participant information on that organization’s behalf and for that purpose. The organization determines who participates and what it receives back. Our agreement with the organization sets the limits on how the information is used, and we do not repurpose participant information for our own marketing without consent.
What you say in a session is treated as confidential to the room. Where we report back to a sponsoring organization, we report themes and group patterns rather than attributing statements to individuals, unless you have agreed otherwise. Answers to after-session reflection forms are not shared with the organization. Only Nayli reads your full answers. We may quote short excerpts on our website without your name or any detail that could identify you.
Virtual sessions and the monthly Alumni Lab run on Zoom and are recorded. We announce the recording at the start, and Zoom displays a recording indicator. A recording captures the video, audio, and chat of the participants and any files shared during the session. You may keep your camera off and take part by audio or chat instead.
Recordings, Academy courses, and course materials are hosted on Kajabi, our learning platform. Participants enrolled in a session, course, or the Alumni Lab access the recordings there, and, where the arrangement provides for it, so does the sponsoring organization. Recordings are kept while the participant’s access lasts and are removed after it ends.
We ask that participants do not download, copy, or redistribute session recordings, both to protect the material and to protect the people in the room.
The Site uses only the cookies and similar technologies it needs to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or other tracking tools to follow your activity on the Site.
Some pages include content provided by other services: videos played through Brightcove and YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode), fonts from Adobe Fonts, scheduling from Calendly, and forms from Kit and JotForm. When a page loads this content, the provider may receive your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies under its own privacy terms.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. If you disable certain cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as intended. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
The providers we rely on are Webflow, which hosts the Site; Kit, which delivers our emails and processes the Leadership Range, enrollment, and access-code forms; our e-commerce provider, which processes purchases on shop.russoleadership.com; Kajabi, which hosts the Academy and session recordings; Zoom, which runs and records our virtual sessions and the Alumni Lab; Calendly, which manages scheduling; JotForm, which processes session reflection forms; John Wiley & Sons, Inc., which administers the Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors® assessments; The Table Group, Inc., which administers The 6 Types of Working Genius® assessment; Brightcove and YouTube, which play embedded videos; Adobe, which provides the fonts on the Site; and Microsoft, which supports our business email, files, and correspondence. Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and may use embedded tools provided by third parties, including scheduling, video, and form embeds. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites and tools. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our relationship with you, and to comply with our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Records of sessions arranged by an organization, and the assessment reports that go with them, are retained for the period agreed with that organization. Session and Alumni Lab recordings are kept while the participant’s access lasts and are removed after it ends. If you unsubscribe, we retain a minimal record so that we can honor your request not to be contacted. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
The Site, our sessions, and the Academy are intended for working professionals and are not directed to children. You must be at least eighteen years old to use the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means that you accept the revised policy.
